Herashibori is a type of sheet metal processing where a mold is attached to a lathe, and while rotating, the metal sheet is processed to fit the mold. Common examples include reflector plates for lighting fixtures and ashtrays, while more unique examples include the tip of a rocket and the "bell" that is rung when offering money at a shrine.
